Halloween is coming up. I've got no clue what to dress up as. I think I know what I'll dress Romie as but I'm not sure on Ames either. (thinking of torturing Romie and making her a Gentern from Repo! The genetic Opera, Ames I'm not sure about at all.)

I'll pic spam once i find her some eyes, she came with non and I have no 14/16mm eyes.

She needs sueding or I need to make it so her S hook doesn't have to hook onto her headcap. it's really annoying...I can't get it off!

Poptart included some cute undies, a bikini and some cute shorts with her!

DoA is down and Poptart hasn't PMed with the tracking like she said she would (it's only been a day so I'm guessing she's just busy.) So I was bored enough to use the USPS website to see how long it should be for my new Ipsae to arrive.

according to the website she should be here Tuesday or Wednesday. Hopefully in the morning so she won't end up sitting on my patio while I'm at work... they did that with my V-color too... Blarg.

In Doll News:

My new doll ships today! I'm all antsy and excited. I Bought her via DoA so she should be here in about a week or less. But she's all paid for, now it's a waiting game.

V-color is not nearly as horrible smelling as I was lead to believe. Carb cleaner is much worse.

Amethyst is a bit darker than I'd hoped my color mixing would produce. But now I can buy fun little option hands and paint them to match her new tone. Flat base was also a lovely idea. not at all shiny like the thread pics ^_^ I'm satisfied and have plenty of left over paint for option hands!

Now to find MSC or ZM spray.


On a completely different note: Those ads you see for the Art Institute? Burn them, ignore and otherwise destroy them. They are evil money grubbing waste of time and energy. They will never see another penny from me, nor will ANY school that has advertisements. If you need ads you aren't a very good school anyway. *not bitter at all*

WORK:
I'm doing pretty well at work, this is my final week of training. The feedback I've received so far is really good, I just need to lower my call times below 12 minutes. I'm currently around 17 on a bad day and 11 on my best day so far.

LIFE:
we're scraping buy right now, just 2 more weeks before we move into the new apartment. That's two weeks to pull more than $1600 out of our ears. Perhaps it's time to start freaking out over the penny I tossed into the wishing well.

Well even if the stress kills me it's a good day. I have no idea why, it just is. The first time in my life I've woken up and said the words "It's going to be a good day!" Of course it rained and every caller decided to be angry at me throwing my time clear over 30 minutes on half my calls. But hey..... I'm beginning to think Earl slipped me mood stabilizers or something.... I've never been so annoyingly optimistic for no reason at all...

*wonders off to inspect the sugar I've been using in my tea*

In other news:
I got a new job!! I'm an AT&T Home networking rep now. Also We're moving into a new apartment next month!

After discovering a vegetable bin made of gross and fail in the fridge, Earl struck  a deal with me. I'm allowed to buy an IH Akando because I braved the decayed veggies and scrubbed the drawer clean. And it doesn't count against our weight loss deal!
( He'll buy me a doll with his own money when/if I reach my goal weight of 150lbs, but I'm not allowed to buy dolls until then.)

Speaking of which! The official date is April 1st 2009(not a prank I swear! It's our anniversary of when we first got together). I have picked a dress, He picked a suit and we have a friend who's an Ordained minister. All we need is for our families to be there and we're set.

The internet is being shut off because they triple charged us. I should be back sometime in the next few weeks. after we move again.

Normally for days like to day (Meaning Friday the 13th) Myself and a couple of friends hang out for really lame horror movie night and crack jokes while eating pop-corn and occasionally there is booze. It was always a real laugh and great times.

I doubt that will happen anymore. The friends I thought I had aren't really friends when you sit down and think about it. I mean what kind of friend decides to yell at the top of their lungs at you over a pint of cottage cheese you bought with your own money. Or tears your character sheet to shreds and leaves it at your bedroom door because you decided to finish a movie with your Fiancee instead of coming to play World of Darkness right that second. Then what sort of friend is it that laughs at you while saying "you can't play anymore your dead."

In the end all I have is Earl. I'm more than happy with Earl. And that's the real key, I'm happy now.

Amethyst now has a head! I need to get supplies for a face up but she has eyes a head and even a half-assed attempt to convert a human sized Halloween wig down to her size. It's all poofy but you'll see that behind the cut..

Other news:
I went down to DES to apply for medical. they just need a paper from my boss with my wages on it to say approved or denied. Surprisingly he wasn't a dick about it. He filled it out and handed back to me the same day I gave it to him. I'm worried though since he skipped over a whole highlighted section. the part about what I made last month. And they won't except my Payroll card statement since it only shows net pay. Since I have a Payroll card I don't get check stubs.  Lets just hope it all turns out when I get to sit in the office with screaming/crying children until they call my number Monday. 

Now that I have Amethyst(My one BJD for a year). my BJD jar is now my "Name change" jar. I'm ready to leave my past behind and part of that is ditching the name my parents gave me. I know it sounds calloused but I'm just going to cut all ties with my family. I love my Dad, but staying in contact with him is staying in contact with my mother and full-biological brother. Both of whom bring bad memories and stress into full view.  I don't mean the emo "OMG they said they wouldn't buy me dollies!"  bad memories and stress. I'm talking full on abuse in more ways than one.  It's taken a long time and many good understanding friends for me to deal with it all in a healthy way. So I want to move on with that part of my life before Earl and I get married. Once I get the money saved up I will no longer be "Tanya-Lisa Lynn" I'll be  "Victoria  Rose" 

Earl is really supporting in my decision to change my name. he Even has a new nick name for me. He calls me "Vii". My closest friends have decided they don't want to try calling me by the new name. Considering they still don't pronounce my given name right I'm not surprised lol. At least it's not as bad as my co-worker who insists my name is "Trina". I'd prefer a mis pronunciation to "Trina". Really how hard is it to say "Tan-yuh" the first "A" like "Apple" and the second like "Uh". The only people it doesn't bother me when they mis pronounce it is when my friend James in England talked to me in voice chat here and there. The accent was cute enough to let it slide. Oh well no use in trying to correct people now. A rose by any other name and all that.
